"I am the new Principal on our site and felt that I needed
to find an electronic communications program that I could use with my
staff. I don't like using our District's e-mail system because it is
too global and allows for others in our District to be exposed to
things we speak about with our staff. I also wanted to find a way to
do away with our "old and standard" staff handbook that has to be
updated each year and then printed and distributed to staff.
Being able to communicate with my Visiting Teachers was also very
important to me. We have been able to set up an extra computer in
our office so that Visiting Teachers can access T.S. with a universal
pass word that allows them to enter the T.S. Handbook to look up
school policies and procedures. The Visiting Teachers who are
regular substitutes on our site can pull T.S. up on their home
computers for easy review before they show up on site.
The support my staff and I have received from Dr. Salzano and her
term has been unbelievable. Their help is only a telephone call or e-
mail away. Having the ability to access our sites Teacher Success,
Dr. Salzano has given us some very helpful suggestions that have made
T.S. work even better.
